Every month, Bilt introduces exciting bonus opportunities for Bilt cardholders and members on Rent Day. These offers include earning bonus points and enjoying exclusive experiences tailored for members.
To celebrate July Rent Day, Bilt Rewards members can access a generous transfer bonus and status match with Alaska Airlines. Additionally, members can indulge in exclusive brunch experiences in select cities.
Other perks for July Rent Day include SoulCycle rides, the RentFree game show, and the final edition of Point Quest trivia.
It’s essential to note that these offers are part of Bilt’s Rent Day series, a recurring program that features daylong promotions on the first of each month. On Rent Day, Bilt cardholders can earn double points on non-rent purchases and enjoy various other benefits.
However, there is some recent news to consider: Bilt has discontinued its partnership with American Airlines as a transfer partner. This change may prompt cardholders to reassess their rewards credit card choice.
Details of Bilt’s July Rent Day Offers
July’s highlighted Rent Day benefit includes a substantial transfer bonus and status match with Alaska Airlines. Members can also savor exclusive dining experiences through Bilt’s Neighborhood Dining program.
Enhanced Transfer Bonus with Alaska Airlines
The primary offering for July’s Rent Day is an impressive transfer bonus and status match opportunity with Alaska Airlines.
Bilt members will receive a transfer bonus (based on their Bilt elite status) on the first 50,000 points transferred:
- 25% bonus for Blue members
- 50% bonus for Silver members
- 75% bonus for Gold members
- 100% bonus for Platinum members
It’s important to note that any amount transferred beyond 50,000 points will not qualify for a bonus. The transfer bonus period commences on July 1, 2024, at midnight Eastern time and concludes at 11:59 pm Pacific time. Point transfers are typically instantaneous, and members will receive an email confirmation upon completion.
Status Match with Alaska Mileage Plan
In addition to the transfer bonus with Alaska Airlines, Bilt Gold and Platinum members can receive a status match with the Alaska Mileage Plan by transferring 10,000 Bilt points between June 25 and July 1, 2024.
- Bilt Gold: Alaska MVP Status
- Bilt Platinum: Alaska MVP Gold Status
The status obtained through this promotion is valid until Dec. 31, 2024. It’s worth noting that miles transferred for status matching purposes do not qualify for the transfer bonus and do not count towards the 50,000-point limit. Members can expect their Alaska Mileage Plan status to update within 14 business days.
Exclusive Dining Experiences
On July 1, Bilt members can partake in exclusive dining experiences at select neighborhood establishments in cities such as Austin, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, Miami, Houston, New York, San Francisco, and Washington, DC.
Reservations will open on June 27 based on status level and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, utilizing Bilt points or an eligible card linked to the member’s Bilt account:
- Noon Eastern time for Bilt Platinum members
- 12:10 p.m. Eastern time for Bilt Gold members
- 12:20 p.m. Eastern time for Bilt Silver members
- 12:30 p.m. Eastern time for Bilt Blue members
Redemption costs range from 6,000 to 10,000 points or $75-125. Given the high demand, it’s advisable to be prepared at your allocated time if interested in making a reservation.
Loss of a Transfer Partner
Effective June 24, 2024, Bilt members can no longer transfer points to American Airlines. This change represents a significant loss for individuals seeking to bolster their American Airlines AAdvantage miles balance.
While the addition of Alaska Airlines as a Bilt transfer partner allows for partner bookings with American, it may not fully meet all requirements.
Additional Rent Day Benefits
RentFree Game Show
Engage in Bilt’s RentFree game show within the Bilt app for a chance to win free rent. To participate, players must correctly guess three of the most common responses to the game’s questions. Prizes include:
- The top 10 players win a free rent payment (up to $2,500)

- The next 500 highest ranking players receive 100 Bilt points
This month’s host is Brooklyn Peltz Beckham, a renowned chef, author, and influencer. Guesses can be submitted starting June 25 at noon Eastern until July 1 at 3 p.m. Eastern time. The episode will air at 4 p.m. on July 1.
Point Quest Trivia Promotion
Participate in Bilt’s Point Quest trivia on July 1 within the Bilt app for a chance to win up to 250 Bilt points. Earn up to 150 points by correctly answering five trivia questions. Successfully answering these questions grants you an opportunity to tackle a bonus question worth an additional 100 points.
However, the promotional video for July’s game hints that this will be the final month of the Point Quest trivia promotion.
SoulCycle Rent Day Rides
Bilt Members can reserve a complimentary bike at select SoulCycle locations for Rent Day. Seats are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, and bookings will open by status level beginning June 28 at noon Eastern. Furthermore, one fortunate rider will win a month of rent (up to $2,500).
Please be aware that failing to attend a booked ride without canceling before 5 p.m. local time will incur a $30 fee. Additionally, individuals who do not cancel in time will be unable to book future SoulCycle rides on Rent Day.
Double Credit Card Rewards
Renters can maximize rewards with Bilt’s rewards credit card on the first day of each month. Bilt Mastercard cardholders can earn double points on non-rent purchases made with the card, up to 10,000 bonus points. This includes:
- 6X points on dining (usually 3X points)
- 4X points on travel (usually 2X points)
- 2X points on other purchases, excluding rent (usually 1X points)
This offer commences at midnight Eastern on June 30 and concludes at 11:59 p.m. Pacific time. To accrue points, cardholders must use their Bilt Mastercard at least five times per month.
It’s worth noting that while Bilt points are valued at approximately $0.55 each when redeemed for rent, other redemption options, particularly utilizing Bilt’s transfer partners, offer better value. According to Bankrate’s assessments, Bilt points are valued at around $2.10 each when transferred to a high-value travel partner.
