Israeli startup eSelf AI has developed cutting-edge technology that offers interactive AI real estate agents capable of answering questions and guiding potential buyers through property listings at any time.
“We are not just a moving and speaking face while the agent responds to the user, but we also have video and image sharing capabilities,” said eSelf AI co-founder and CEO Alan Bekker in an interview with Fox Business.
Bekker explained that the company’s technology combines large language models into a visual and interactive experience, likening its impact to how movies transformed books by making information more accessible.
The customizable AI bots created with eSelf AI’s platform have been embraced across various sectors, including education, customer service, and real estate.
One of the firms leveraging this technology is Portugal-based real estate brokerage firm Porta da Frente Christie’s, which has seen $100 million in sales generated from leads provided by the AI agent.
Porta da Frente Christie’s CEO João Cília shared that the firm has witnessed significant outcomes since implementing the AI agent about a year ago.
“We currently have over 5,000 properties in our portfolio. It would be impossible for a human to possess all the information about these properties, but an AI agent can,” Cília stated. “Therefore, customers are likely to receive a much better service from the AI agent than a physical commercial consultant, as the AI knows everything about all the properties.”
Customers engaging with the AI agent provide basic details like location preferences, budget, and desired number of bedrooms. The AI then filters listings, conducts virtual tours, and provides detailed property descriptions.
The AI assistant has also helped bridge time zone differences for Porta da Frente Christie’s, catering to international clients, particularly from the U.S. and Brazil.
Cília emphasized that the AI ensures prompt responses for buyers despite the time zone disparity, enhancing customer experience without necessitating 24/7 human staffing.
“In a way, it replaces their online search,” Cília added.
Looking to the future, Cília believes AI agents could revolutionize real estate sales by reducing dependence on human agents and cutting operational expenses.
“If we can implement it on a large scale in the long or medium term, it could potentially replace many physical commercial consultants, making the property selling process much more cost-effective,” he noted.
