From industry veterans to reality stars, big names are making big moves and big changes in 2025.
The National Association of Realtors has welcomed industry veteran Sherry Chris as an independent consultant and special advisor to CEO Nykia Wright.
Chris has held leadership roles at Coldwell Banker Real Estate, Better Homes & Gardens Real Estate, ERA Real Estate, and Anywhere Real Estate Inc., bringing a wealth of experience to NAR.
“Sherry’s expertise and perspective will be crucial as we strengthen NAR’s collaboration with industry partners and enhance alignment across the sector,” said Wright.
“Her ability to build connections and provide forward-thinking insights will guide NAR in meeting the diverse needs of the real estate community.”
RE/MAX President Amy Lessinger resigns
RE/MAX President Amy Lessinger has announced her resignation in an SEC filing after less than a year in the role. The company is currently searching for a new president to replace her.
CEO Erik Carlson will oversee Lessinger’s responsibilities until a successor is named.
Tracy Tutor and team move from Douglas Elliman to Compass
Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles star Tracy Tutor and her team have joined Compass after a decade at Douglas Elliman. With nearly 25 years of experience and over $4.5 billion in career sales, Tutor is excited about the future at Compass.
